The Lead Backfist and the Lead Straight Vertical Punch are two very developed weapons in Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do, so it only makes sense that when practicing this art you will work and train a combination of the two, alternating their order.

There are many applications that I usually train and teach for just this combo and its variations, and I love to use it and to show how effective this can be. And, it’s just such a cool combo to work on.
